The associate degree

The bachelor’s degree or BSN as it is also called will require you to give 4 years commitment. However, this degree is the one that a great deal of employers prefer you to have behind you, and which they ask for, when they advertise registered nurse positions. If you are serious and have the commitment to want to advance in the nursing sector, the BSN should be sought; it also provides you with the chance of earning more money in nursing.

A diploma

It would take 3 years of training to earn your diploma in registered nursing; however, this method of meeting the registered nurse requirements is now on the decline. This is probably because those in the health care sector advertising positions in nursing are now seeking candidates that have a college education.
