Based on your experience level, you could also be called as an expert witness to testify in court. This particular field of nursing has many opportunities available for the well trained and experienced nurse, and can also be financially rewarding. If you have no desire to work with patients directly, and are detail oriented, this may be a good career move for you to consider.
